About Us
The Home First Initiative is designed to tackle the affordable housing challenges in rural communities of North Carolina. This program focuses on three main objectives:

Providing New Homes: The initiative supports our Investor Driven Communities, that aims to build and offer the new Lux-Affordable housing options to address the current housing shortage. By increasing the supply of affordable homes, the initiative helps to ensure that more families and individuals have access to safe and stable housing. Lux-Affordable refers to high-quality products or experiences that deliver the look, feel, and benefits of luxury—premium design, comfort, and refinement—while remaining accessible at a price point below traditional luxury standards.

Revitalizing Existing Homes: Alongside constructing new homes, the program also focuses on revitalizing and renovating existing homes. This ensures that the current housing stock meets modern standards and provides a safe, comfortable living environment for residents. Revitalization efforts can include repairs, upgrades, and improvements to make homes more livable and energy-efficient.

Legacy Community: A Legacy Community is land owned (often inherited) by families or individuals who want to transform it into an income-producing, affordable housing community—but lack the resources or expertise.
By addressing these three aspects, the Home First Initiative seeks to improve the overall quality of housing in rural North Carolina, contributing to the well-being of its residents and the strength of its communities.
